MIRAGE - AI / Graphic Design

MIRAGE is a fictional fashion brand born from the intersection of culture, heritage, and avant-garde expression. Rooted in my Ivorian identity and inspired by the aesthetic power of the desert, the brand explores the space between illusion and presence  where fashion becomes ritual, and the body becomes a symbol of memory, power, and transformation.

This entire project is the result of my personal creative direction: from the naming, visual language, and thematic choices to the styling and symbolic narratives. The photographic visuals were created with the help of AI tools, allowing me to bring my vision to life with carefully directed prompts and aesthetic control but every concept, detail, and composition stems from my own artistic intention.

The project is composed of three distinct collections, each exploring a different emotional and symbolic dimension through clothing, accessories, and artistic direction.

ECLIPSE

“ECLIPSE” draws from ancestral elegance and cosmic mystery. This line is sculptural, dramatic, and intimate, inspired by sacred silences and the quiet strength of Black femininity. The garments wrap the body like ancient veils, using deep black fabrics, flowing layers, and strong silhouettes. Adinkra symbols appear subtly  printed, carved, or hidden in the folds  linking the pieces to the spiritual language of West Africa. The collection feels timeless, like an apparition emerging from myth.

SOLANCE

Where the sun meets serenity.
The “SOLANCE" collection is the visual opposite of ECLIPSE. It channels warmth, divine light, and the golden glow of resilience. The silhouettes are fluid yet structured, made of airy beige and ochre fabrics that echo desert sands. Wind is a central motif: garments float, expand, and ripple with each movement. Solance is not just about light it’s about rebirth, softness, and the joy of self-exposure. If Eclipse is introspection, Solance is revelation.

NHYIRA

Adornment as ancestral blessing.
“Nhyira” is the jewelry line of the brand, named after the Akan word for “blessing.” These are not simply accessories, they are wearable relics. Each piece is crafted around cowrie shells, historically used across West Africa as currency, protection, and symbols of femininity. The designs are both minimalist and ceremonial, mixing raw organic textures with gold detailing. Some earrings bloom behind the ear like solar halos, while other pieces wrap around the face like ancient markings.
This collection pays homage to the beauty rituals of African women past, present, and imagined.
